Similan Islands Diving
The Similan Islands are Thailand’s most famous dive destination and widely considered one of the best dive areas in the world.
As well as the nine Similan Islands themselves, there are three dive sites located in the same region which are considered an essential part of any Similan diving visit: Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.
Richelieu Rock is often named as the best dive site in all of Thailand.
The most common way to go to the Similan Islands is on a liveaboard boat. Similan liveaboards usually last four days. It’s possible to get 3 day Similan liveaboard trips.
